Pre-Christmas- Finally posting!!!

Josh took his very first vacation since getting a "real" job - to my delight- over Christmas this year! We started our family vacation bright and early Saturday morning heading down to my Grandparents house in Yreka, CA. "Over the Siskous and through the woods........"

Uncle Bryce came with us! But we woke him up too early for the drive....

Grace chillin in her pj's. It was truly a miracle drive. Gabe didn't cry once!!!

We arrived to the yummy aroma of Christmas spice cake.......what Grandma's house is supposed to smell like! We were in for a treat!

A fancy dinner was prepared for us!

We had fun putting together a gingerbread house with Grandma. You can see on this roof where I stopped correcting what Grace was doing- and just let her go at it! Beautiful job Gracie!This is a section of the famous wall of Grandkids. They need a whole new room for great grandbabies! Uncle Garret and his friend Nick joined us too! So fun! Nothing to do but relax! Grace curled up by the fire with a book. I spent much of my time doing the same! So nice!

Finally some snow! But right as we head for home! :( So sad, but had such a good time! Thanks Papa and Grandma!!
