Friendship

In my heart, has been created a new meaning for the word friendship. I have had so many good friends in my life and have been lucky to have 2 very close friends who have seen me through several phases of life. However Josh and I have both been blessed with a group of friends from our home church in McMinnville that have opened new places in our hearts when it comes to friends. Friendship is not aquaitance, or even just liking somebody or having similar intrests. I've learned from these friends that friendship means understanding each other, praying for and with each other, laughing - a lot - together, sharing exciting times like Grace's first word, loving on kids together, eating together, missing each other and the list could go on. The other thing is that I've learned how valuble friends are. I love love love my family and they are some of my best friends as well, but I also feel so very blessed because I have learned that friendships can be a different type of family. We all become, in part, the people we are because of our parents and close family members. But we all know that in some ways we grow up to be different. These friends I have made, I love them like family but we are also really alike! I know duh! We have things in common, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am so greatful to have these people in my life, and I hope you know who you are, who I love like family and love us back the same, and that are in the same stage of life as us, and that you just get our hearts, ya know? Our hearts are alike, we dream for similar things, are hurt by similar things and are excited about what God is doing in each of our lives. I am rambling now, but I just want you friends to know that friendship has a new meaning in my heart, and it's because of you. That wont change no matter where we live! I love you all!
